Everything about our types of transport


RET has been providing bus services in Rotterdam since 1928. We acquired the bus concession in 2012, as a result of which the personnel and rolling stock of Qbuzz were taken over. Our buses now travel to Maassluis, Lansingerland, Krimpen aan den IJssel, Ridderkerk and Barendrecht.

The summary of our metro rolling stock covers the period 1980 up to and including 2017. The new generation of vehicles meets the latest requirements with respect to fire safety, comfort and public safety. The vehicles have air conditioning and screens that display passenger information.

The RET Fast Ferry was put into operation as a new means of transport on 1 May 2008. This fast ferryboat has been calling at Maasvlakte, Hook of Holland and Pistoolhaven for a number of years.
